Description

This mammography CME training aims to provide a thorough overview of various mammography-based techniques, such as tomosynthesis, contrast-enhanced mammography, synthetic views, and breast intervention. In addition to fundamental technical considerations, state-of-the-art and indications of each technique will be provided. Theoretical lectures will be enhanced by interactive case demonstrations.

Everyday and complicated or rare cases will help participants to become familiar with the semiology of this modality, as well as technical issues, artefacts, and pitfalls. Indications and contraindications of mammography is also very important knowledge to best use these methods. Special issues on intervention under mammo/tomo/CEM and BI-RADS lexicon, would also be discussed.

The participants will be provided with the reporting templates and many practical cases, prepared by the mentor. Up-to-date international recommendations, protocols, and patient information would also be shared.

Unilabs Academy online radiology fellowships are held in a virtual classroom on Zoom. In this small group environment among your peers, you are free to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn together with the support of the radiologist mentor.
